In July 2026, we set up the first HUVI.NOMAD prototype in Ticino to test it with planned test fires.
In detail
Set-up in the field
The unit was set up at an observation point overlooking the plain and operated autonomously.
Test fires cancelled
The planned test fires were cancelled at short notice for safety reasons because of drought and high wildfire danger.
Real fire detected
During set-up, the prototype detected a real fire near Milan, about 17 km from its location.
